HOW WE BUILT IT
Five motions, one studio
Identify
STEP 01 / 05
The studio identified that travel specialists were stuck between messy inputs and weak client output. Most category tools solved the wrong problem by becoming CRM-first or booking-first systems. The real bottleneck was proposal creation — turning fragmented supplier material into something premium and trustworthy in front of a client.
Blueprint
STEP 02 / 05
The studio mapped Planis around a single workflow: input, refine, publish, share. Every product decision was tested against that motion. CRM ambitions, booking-engine features, and operations sprawl were intentionally excluded so the product could be sharper at one job than category incumbents could be at twenty.
Design
STEP 03 / 05
Planis's design language is premium, calm, and typographic. Off-white surfaces, restrained black and warm neutral text, Instrument Serif for display, Satoshi for UI, amber-gold reserved for emphasis. The product looks closer to a luxury-grade studio tool than a generic SaaS app — which matches the clientele its specialists serve.
Build
STEP 04 / 05
The studio built Planis as an AI-native publishing workflow. Pasted supplier emails, voice notes, and DMC itineraries are structured into editable plan sections, refined in live preview, and shipped as shareable links or premium PDFs — with invoicing in the same surface, so the commercial layer never leaves the workflow.
Scale
STEP 05 / 05
Planis scales through output quality and design throughput. Two plan designs and one invoice design ship at launch, with new designs added weekly and engagement tracking on every published plan. The studio is rolling the product into GCC luxury travel advisors first, then adjacent premium operator segments.
